Stinging Nettle loop at Castlewood State Park...

It's not to hilly, has a ton of wicked turns and super fast sections with big chainring sweapers...

also if you want some abuse then the chubb is good on the other side of the river...be prepared for some technical stuff though and some huge hill climbs with super fast downhills...

The Big Sycamore Canyon loop just north of Malibu in Southern CA. In the san fernando valley it can be 95 degrees out, and you travel over to the the big syc and it like 70 and breezy, with long climbs, spectacular views of the pacific and rolling hills, then decends into some wonderful fast singletrack, dozens of creek crossings, and if you go on the weekday, you just might be the only person on the whole trail. To me it's what XC is all about.
