The blue one? have i missed something? I dont know what i prefer. i think it comes down to the way the frame is made and the shape of the tubing more than the type. The material effects the weight more than the ride in my opinion. I have riden some steel bikes on both ends of the spectrum in terms of stiffness, but both were relatively heavy, while i have ridden some really light alloy bikes with lots of BB flex and some heavier ones with very little movement. Carbon seems to be the way to go at the moment with most manufacturers using it somewhere on modern bikes, but i have ridden some dreadful carbon bikes from a few years ago that have almost scared me off ever buying one again. If i had to choose i would go for Alloy because it is cheap, light and effective (i havent ridden titanium).
