Today while riding, my 4900's frame broke at the point where the chainstay part connects to the bottom bracket. Now that I think about it, it may have been cracked for a while, as it's been creaking. I attributed it to my crank, not the frame. At any rate, I took it to the LBS that I purchased it from, and they seem to think Trek will warranty it.
Assuming Trek does replace the frame, what frame will they replace it with? The 4900 model isn't made any longer. Will I get a 4500? 6000? Will I get a choice of colors, or will they just ship me whatever they have and tell me to deal with it?
