I have a garmin forerunner 201 that i'm using for speed and distance but want something that counts cadence what is a good brand. looking in the 20 to 50 price range

I have the Cateye Strada Cadence. It is a wired computer for $44.99 on nashbar. It shows current cadence, but does not calculate average cadence. It's not too hard to set-up, and it is very easy to use and switch screens while riding.

I've been using Shimano Flight Deck but it is out of your price range, plus you have to have compatible brifters. Beyond that I can recommend Topeak and Specialized but they did not have a cadence funtion.

Cateye Micro Wireless. Actually I'm pretty impressed with Cateye. I've had zero problems. I'd go wireless, it's just nicer. The micro wireless does not have cadence, but other models have the cadence feature.

We have Cateyes on four of our eight bikes and they have been durable and dependable.
