I'd like to get a bike for my 7 year old, and I was wondering does anybody make a road looking bike for little ones, or should I just get a bike and add some parts so it looks like mine. He would be be delighted to go out & ride with his stepdad. Tx in advance. Dubliner

Trek and Felt both make them with 24" wheels. I think Merida does too. There was a thread recently about it.

It depends on how big your 7 year old is. Mine is still kinda small, so I went with a Trek MT220 which has the adjustable crank arm length - as does Gary Fisher. We like the versatility it offers and I put some light pavement friendly tires on it and it really scoots!

hope this helps!
