Hi, you know the new style tube patch kits - The type where you just peel off the little square of
tape and put it on the puncture?

Well, I was in the local hardware store this morning and was wondering if I could buy a big roll of
the stuff. Surely, its made for something other than bike tubes in bigger qualtities.

Any guess what it might Gernerically know as? I know its not masking tape or duct tape, or cella
    tape, so what is it?

    cheers,

It's a urethane patch but I have no idea what the adhesive is.

  3. It's certainly not duct tape. I can assure you of that.

Duct tape would hold a lot longer that the ten or twenty miles that is all I ever got out of any
    glueless (an appropriate name) patch!

May you have the wind at your back. And a really low gear for the hills! Chris

To concur, those little glueless patches don't hold terribly well IME. A regular tube of glue and
patches is so tiny, why not use what works well?
