What's up with all of the advertisers?

What's up with all of the "threads" that turn out to be advertisements? This is a great site but these ads disguised as threads have started to appear lately. Is there anyway to stop this, or at least send them to the Classified section. They are easy enough to ignore right now but it would be a shame for such a great site to turn into a marketplace.

Myself, I only look at this website a couple times a week. I like http://www.bikeforums.net/ much better. So many new posts, I check at least twice a day. And not too many posts that are ads, just and ad for sponsers within the posts. And they are not hidden.

Any of the powers that be seeing this? Two threads about this on the first page? Could it be that the natives are getting fed up wtih this? For a while there I thought it was just me.
