So there was Tour de Toona, Mt. Holly and the NYC crit...Is there anyone else out there who thinks
this was poor scheduling?
Take a look Altoona: While the pro race was no doubt hard, the field was kinda lean, particularly
for that Sunday crit. The men's cat 2 race was also severely lacking in numbers; I can't remember
ever seeing less than 100 riders there.
I can't see how putting all these big races so close to one another is really a good idea, because
they're all great races. I wonder how Altoona felt...
