i'm looking to get a new bike sometime in the spring, i have another post out about that, so i'm wondering about the wheels on these bikes. i'm considering a trek 1500, which comes with bontrager select wheels and the felt f80 which comes with an alex akx r2.0 wheelset. i'm not too familiar with road wheels (i'm more of a bmx guy). what are the pros and cons of each of these wheelsets? how are bontrager components altogether? thanks.

cmon, someone help me out here

Usually the wheels that come stock are not the best. Right now I ride Mavic Cosmos in the winter (about 1800gm a pair), and American Classic CR-420 in the
better weather months (about 1550gm a pair). I really like the American Classic a lot better and they are more responsive in the climbs. Bontrager has a pretty good reputation, but the entry level wheels are all very similar.
