Hi I have a Marzocchi MX COMP with ETA. I turn ETA on when going up a hill no matter if it is smooth road or just rocks and dirt also when I'm going down a smooth road. I turn it of when going down in a rocky or terrace or whatever not smooth surface.
Is this the intented use for this or is there any other recommendation? 😕
Thanks

ThanksMarzocchi's recommended use for that feature is for climbing only. I (for some unknown reason) read the owner's manual for my latest Marzocchi fork (something I've not done with 3 prior forks) and that was their idea. They were quite clear to *not* use it while going downhill. I know on my 5"+ travel Z-1 there is quite the geometry difference when I "lock" the fork down and am just riding on flat ground (to experement I guess). Anyway, I wouldn't use it going down anything. Take care.
