okay so despite living in wisconsin, ive been training for some time now. about three weeks ago i changed my seat(maybe/maybe not related, but relevant) and went out for a group ride. it is not a tough one and throughout i felt great. on wednesday i went to a sprints group ride, and whereas im not normally winning, i am competitive, this time i was not. my legs felt incredibly stiff, and solid too. ever since i have not had much in me legs. the quads feel tight and solid, but not strong and powerful. could this possibly be a seat thing or what. also possibly relatedly, i have been having pains in my knees on the front of them. thanks yall.-pc

Saddle position (setup) can also create knee pain.

How far forward the saddle is, is determined by the length of the bike and your proportions. You want a blum bob to start at the tibial tuberosity below the knee and fall directly through the axle of a pedal at 6 o'clock.

Seat post movements also effect this position as your hips are moved.
