Where are you from, what do you do?

HI All,

I am from Bucks in the UK and look forward to talking to people on this forum about a range of topics.

Cheers,

Adam

I'm Daniel from VA and love cycling. I like to spend my weekend on countryside in peace and calm. I do it via cycling and enjoy it a lot. It not only keeps me fit but also a source of enjoyment as well. I feel warmth in snowy season and find it the best source of enjoyment as well as good health.

Hi I'm Craig, I'm 39 years old from Delaware.

I work in Systems Support for a large bank.

I ride a few times a week using my bike for communting when the weather allows, and for exercise and stress relief on the weekends.

I just got back in to cycling a little over a month ago and am enjoying it as much as when I was a teenager.

I bought a mountain bike thinking I was going to stick to parks and trails, only to realize I wanted to ride longer and further than the park trails allowed, so now I'm already in the market to upgrade to a nice entry level road bike.

My name is Chris, I enjoy long walks on the beach, puppies... sorry, wrong place.;) I'm a gunsmith/machinist by trade, and 37. I've done recreational MTB riding on and off for the last 10 years or so, but have developed a serious desire to start touring. Mid-life crisis I guess. Just looking for information and tips. Connected via SkyNet

Hello my name is Edward, I'm from Portland, Or; but now I reside in Los Angeles, Ca.
I work in property management & major in Psychology.

I recently purchased a Cannondale MTB from someone & promised myself I'd actually ride it, but while getting it fixed at a LBS, I was staring at a Road Bike "& fell head overheels for dropbars." Came home, jumped online & ordered a Windsor Wellington 3.0. That poor MTB went to the basement, but I still ride it from time to time. Now I plan on getting as serious as my body allows. I ride for 2hrs after work and on the weekends.

Hi my name is Luigi, I'm a tree climber from Philadelphia, married, two daughters, jeepaholic, and i jist picked up what i think is a 1976 Schwinn le tour 12.2 ,

I'm from San Jose, California, living currently in the foothills of the Sierras (on the socialist side). I used to be an IT management type, now I just dabble in web site creation, run a bunch of blogs and try to survive the many back injuries. I recently started riding a bike again (last time I rode Nixon was president) after trying a recumbent trike. That put all my weight exactly where my pain was and I sold it. I've been riding every other day (yeah, for a week now) up and down the hills of our town. My current path is 3.1 miles with 400' of elevation change.

I recently bought a 2013 Trek DS 8.3 - lovin' it so far.

Hello,

I'm from London. I commute on my bike to work and ride in the countryside in my spare time. I just became a student again and training to be a Sport Massage Therapist and working on a research in cycling.

Have a good weekend everyone!

I commute to work by bicycle during the warmer, slower months. I ride in fundraising events, 100K.
Cycling addict. I've grown to hate winter.

Hello fellow cyclists. I am Paul, a late mid-life commuter (I'm a high school teacher) in Sydney. 16 k each way along the Princes Highway from Kogarah to the city - not a pleasant experience, though this is my 4th year at it. I may be starting to lose my nerve - even the occasional verbal abuse or car horn blast makes me feel quite vulnerable. My wife and I often do camping-cycling trips in the hols. Hope to take hybrids to Europe next year - which is why I joined this forum - to ask advice re airlines.
