Hi I'm 45, a Test Engineer from Plymouth in the UK and ride every day to keep fit and healthy. I commute to work Monday to Friday on my Kona MTB (20 miles daily), and try and ride most weekends on my Cannondale MTB with my wife on her Specialised MTB.

Here is Plymouth UK it's great with easy access to Dartmoor on our doorstep.

I don't understand these fair weather riders, I find the worst the weather the more I enjoy riding.

Never give up.

Keep Riding for a long life.

Cheers

Hey all. My name is Charles Gray from Kansas City, MO, USA. I used to run competetively at Kansas State University. I registered because I wanted to post a response to, what I consider, a lot of mis-information on how much protein one needs in their diet. Alas I am not able to post other than in this thread. Ah well. Noone will benefit from my vast knowledge. :D :D

I am a Scuba Diving, Adventure Centre store manager (for now) and i am from lovely Ontario in the beautiful country of Canada. anyone jealous? heh.

I ride purely for pleasure and transportation. I dont train, but I love bikes and the act of cycling. Are there any others out there like me?

I'm from Sussex in England, and I'm a natural therapist. I have a Raleigh Spirit (hence my online name!) which is an eccentric wierd shape aluminium frame road hybrid tourer bike. I like it though:eek:
I never learned to cycle when i was a child, but i've been cycling for about 18 months, 2 years.

Just wanted to introduce myself. New to this group, I am a "roadie", ride a LeMond Zurich in "hilly" Ohio. Looks like a nice group.

Hi, gang... I'm from NYC, and am a partner in an IT consulting svcs firm primarily involved in sales for the firm. Also am a die-hard roadie :) I ride a Litespeed Arenberg, and ride semi-long distance (at least for me :p )

Good to meet you!

Cheers ~

Hello. My name is Bill and I am a 56 year old courier for FedEx in Erie, PA. I currently ride a Trek 7200FX for excercise and am looking at purchashing a road bike to be able to put more miles under me.

I am new to biking on the whole, but recently aquired a Kettwiesel TT. I live in Oslo, Norway but travel extensively whenever I can. By education I am a political scientist and have worked as a lobbyist in organisations for disabled and highschool teacher of business economics.
I decided to get a trike after discussing alternatives to traditional physiotherapy during a rehab stay at a hospital last summer. The staff there helped me sort out what kind of equipment I needed and sources of financial support.
My brother is an avid biker too, and he was very enthusiastic about the bike and helps me i.e lifting it. It's supposed to be light, but because I have two small leadbatteries attached to the front wheel frame, it is still quite heavy. The batteries power a small engine built into the front wheel that helps me bike up i.e steep hills.

Hi there I am new to the forum and the top menu keeps telling me to introduce myself so here is goes.

My, very creative name, is JeremyLaBarge3 and i am a Biology Major at Calpoly San Louis Obispo, CA.

Hy, i´m Markus, i live in Vienna, Austria, and i just finsihed at university; I ride an old Colnago Super over the Winter and a KTM Strada 3000 with Ultegra in Summer, but i think of upgrading the frame now...

Anyone in the Knowsley Huyton area like to hook up for a ride as it can get lonely on your own, and on your motivation.

First post so here goes.

I'm from Accrington in sunny England, work as a e-commerce manager and cycle to work week days. Try and do as much as i can at the weekend usually 30-40 miles. Surrounded by hills and no escape. Got my first time trial in March and just trying to get a good program together to get ready for it. Oh yeah i'm 35 and feel every year of it :)

i am currently living in plano,tx. i am a 50 year old programmer and love motorcycles. i've been riding bicycles off and on since 1993 with 2002 being my highest milage year but plan to set a new high this year (although i'm a little behind schedule this year due to some bad weather).

i love riding on two wheels and the satisfaction of coming down the long 1 mile hill to my home at the end of a ride. looking forward to a great year of riding.
