Yesterday, my bike was stolen. Really annoying, I am really ****** off but there is really nothing I can do really.
So, I need a bike quick and a good one.
Does anyone know a good place I can rent a bike from in Brussels?

http://www.cyclechat.net/topic/37052-bike-rental-in-ghent-belgium/ lists a small dozen of companies, shops and organisations in and around Ghent where you can rental different kind of bicycles. Anyway, Ghent is a better start for a bicycle trip than Brussels. Use Brussels for a one day visit and to get rid of an eventual jet lag ;-) Bicycle rental in Brussels, is also more expensive than in the smaller cities in Belgium. Think of 15 euro for 1 day in Brussels, and half of that in the province. Ghent Max Mobiel asks even only 25 euro for a full month!

@ BikeHire Europe: Your listings for Brussels, Gent, Bruges, Oudenaarde and all other major towns in Belgium are terribly empty. ;-)

Bicycle Rental in East Flanders: http://www.tov.be/results2.aspx?id=4985&taxid=732-1118
Bicycle Rental in West Flanders: http://www.westtoer.be/westtoer/fietsen.aspx?id=100066 (click the 4 regions)
Bicycle Rental in Belgium (only railway stations): http://www.fietsenwerk.be/nl/welkom-18.htm

Yes, I know.
I'm afraid the entire directory is currently lacking in listings. That's something I need to work on. The site gets thousands of visitors a month, but they are all from people looking to hire bikes in Europe, and the hirers of bikes are not aware of the site to submit their business. I'm receiving several email requests per day, asking for info about hiring a bike in a certain city, so I'll be actively recruiting bike rental companies soon. I've also opened up a forum for folks to post recommendations or request info from others. http://bikehire.eu/forum The forum is only just put online so no activity there yet either :) but I'm sure it will prove popular.
