Where does this part go on the bike?

I am transferring my 7900 BB and Ultegra SL compact crankset to another frame, and I came across this part during the transfer. It looks like it would fit on the inside of the non-drive crankarm, but I'm not sure.

Any idea?

That doesn't look like part of a BB. It looks more like the spacer found inside a freehub.

It looks exactly like the ring that goes on the inside of the non-drive side crank arm.

^ Yep, what they said: it's the seal ring thing from inner side of the left crank

Just to be safe, I'd just get the bike repair service to handle it for you, as it would be very important to have ALL parts of the bike in working order for safety reasons, so you can't just "guess", you have to be sure that it really is in the right spot. Your bike needs to be a well oiled machine, and you should really make sure to have everything in proper working order, as it would make your rides a lot safer.
