  1. NO>Hi,

NO>I've been using the OneTouch Basic meter for years and
NO>when I went to get my new supply of strips the box said
NO>new strip, uses less blood. My question is where? Both
NO>the old and new look alike and I've had to use the same
NO>amount o blood as before. They both look the same, only
NO>the new strip is a different color. Is there really a
    NO>difference?

The box I just got from Doctors Diabatic Supply only
shows Fast Take in greyed high lights. Sounds like a
    marketing gimmik.

I am going back to my Accu-Chek Compact tester (Walgreens
selling them for free after full rebate this week) where one
only has to fuss with test strip drums once every 17 tests,
rather than each time as with the OneTouch et al.

    Ciao, Ack.
