My friend is currently looking for a bike that fits the following description:
Roughly £2500
Good Value for Money-possibly 09 model as they are cheap at the moment.
Carbon fibre
Well known brand
He is 6 foot 1, so it would have to be relatively large.
Any suggestions?

I suggest a bike with a frame size in the 57-60 cm range, with a horizontal top tube measurement of 57-58.5 cm, depending on his body proportions.
Beyond that, he needs to visit some shops, sit on some bikes, and perhaps take a few out on some short test rides.
