    Depending on what your using them for I'd go for the defeet
    as they will have better wet and cold weather protection than the lycra versions for our cold and sometimes wet melbourne days.

    If you want to pay a bit more, I actually use seal skinz socks.

    I find them less bulky and more complete protection than overshoes and they can be used for other purposes.
