Which cycle shorts?

You know what, I'm all grown up, I decided to make my own mind up 😉

Ended up paying a little more and going for something that looked

Since Rohan seem to have stopped making Striders for men (and I
regrettably ripped my last pair on a black run at Kirroughtree) I too
am without a pair of plus-fours where the hem falls just below the
knee and is tight to the skin to prevent wasps and wind from intruding
where it's not invited.

Only things that I've seen close so far are Raphas, but I'm not sure
how durable they'd be and they're excessively top dollar :-(

So get a pair of Bags, trim off the legs where you want and add suitable
velcro (or have the local alterers/fixers do such for you) for a seal
and you'll have pretty much exactly the same thing.

If there aren't any in Rohan's bargain bin, there are usually plenty of
pairs on eBay.

Endura Humvee or Zyme 3/4 length?
I have a pair of each, and do rather like them. They seem fairly durable
so far. The Zyme is heavier weight material, and probably looks more
'normal'.
Just be warned that the sizing of the Zyme is a bit strange - I have
several pairs of shorts from Endura in medium that fit me fine, but I
need the Zymes in small.
