  1. I am getting some things from performance bike and wanted to pick up a basic cyclocomputer, but they have SEVEN that cos under $50 and are wireless.

How the hell do I choose one?? I don't need heart rate or cadence, but something basic for time, speed, distance and definately wireless...I hate ugly looking wires in general :-)

I would go with Cateye. I have the Astrale 8, because it is hard-wired, takes the reading from the back wheel (which allows you to track progress when mounted on a trainer), and has wired cadence reading.

In my experience, they have better mounting hardware than some of the brands you have listed. The thing just feels solid. Good enough for Tom Boonen and Peter Van Petegem...who both use the bottom of the line, Mity 8.

    See PvP's in this Photo.

    Cheers!

  4. well cat eye seems to be the most popular one...guess i'll shell out the few extra bucks and get the cat eye

  5. I've always used CatEye. No complaints here.
