    Yes. And then again, maybe not; ISTR that the Existential Flame War
    thread in alt.callahans several years ago went well past the article
    count of the helmet wars here, though it was much less truly volatile.
    (The whole point of that one was to engage in a mock flame war
    lampooning and parodying the whole flame war phenomenon.)

    perhaps a discussion of whether a helmet stands on its strap in
    compression or pulls up on your chin in tension :}
