I seriously considered a SISS, but I read about several folks breaking the rear stays. That's why I
went for the Surly. Heavy, but beefy.

Oops, should be http://www.huntercycles.com/sspeed.html (note the "html"). So I can't type. You
can get there from the main huntercycles.com page, I just gave the direct link to bypass the
Flash intro.

I believe Rick uses an eccentric BB mounting (like tandems use) to get around the SS axle position
vs. disk brake mount problem.
