I know most would say Astana but I'm not sure this makes too much sense.

ASO hate Astana, Lance is US poster boy & Astana are Kazachstanian. Also Astana kinder have a full team and perhaps they dump Kloden for Lance and put Contador as mountain specialist but if I was Contador I'd tell Johan & Lance to **** right off.

Has anyone considered CSC considering Sastre's left to join Cervelo Test Team?

Lance leading CSC is a mightily scary prospect as i think they'd desimate the competition.

A new team called livestrong..... They will be riding LeMond bikes....

Rock Racing.

Lance is back........ FOOL!

Please God no. I doubt he'd join his old drug buddies though, too concerned about his image. Plus, they're a bit shite.

If not Astana, CSC (as previously mentioned) or maybe High Road to hook up with George?

1. Kazakh.
2. Decimate.

From my 'learning English' days.

I think Astana, although CSC would be a better choice for Lance. I just do not see ASO allowing Astana back next year.

Armstrong and gang (Schlecks, Cancellara, O'Grady, and Voigt(is he retiring?)) vs.
Contador and gang (Levi, Kloden, ?? maybe Ulrich & Vino too)

sounds like it would be an awesome battle, theoretically speaking. That's if Lance can reach top form. Even if he did, I don't think he could win it. Assuming, of course, that no doping is involved. Armstrong riding for Riis, against Johan. That would be some good stuff!!

All I can say about it is it must be nice to have nothing else to do in life so you go do the TDF on a whim. Even if Lance takes an ass whoopin', he can't lose. 3 million dollars is worth swallowing your pride for an old-retired fart that won't be expected to win anyway. (Except by most of us American folks)

Its Astana and I think ass whoopin' is a little strong if he starts (and its over 9 months away) expect at least top 5, Lance will be aiming to recreate the data that he had for his previous tour victories by the time he lines up on the start line

Maybe this should be which team should he never join but sponsors put pressure:

Garmin Chipotle & Columbia both come to mind!

Don't know, but whichever team it is will need to train in the US. That should narrow it down some.

Sorry, but why is this a requirement? Media/publicity?

Garmin Chipotle, I believe that they have more to lose by allowing him to join team, for a young team, they made a very good first impression. Also, depends on what sponsors want.........

I think there is only one team that Armstrong will join.
Astana.
Many cohorts from the Disco days and run under Bruyneel.
I struggle to see him riding for any other.

Maybe he should join a French team. :p

if he really wants to come back just to have a go at cancer maybe he should team up with Cadel and payout Lotto's sponsorship for a year, new team name

...Silence Cancer!

that would certainly help to detremine his motives for the comeback.
Ps he should also be a domestique for Cadel:D

Duh......
Let me hesitate a guess ... ASTANA? :D

Speaking of "duh" moments, how bright was Valverde to supposedly go back to the team car to get his rain jacket just before a meaningful descent on a rainy, difficult-weather day? ;)
