"The ENT doctors are too simple-minded. How could you have
good blood circulation without a relaxed nerve system behind
the blood circulation system? Thus the treatment for
tinnitus should aim at treating the nerve first."

I as a patient have done enough of (1) and would like to
    proceed to
    (3). Any suggestion?

  2. Francis,

I will reiterate a previous message that was posted:

At this point, NOTHING works so save your money and preserve
the other aspects of your health from harmful side effects.

Please believe me when I tell you this. I have tried many
things to 'get rid of the sound'. It is NOT going away. I
have to find a way to live with
it. I have made some progress by making a few changes in my
life. It isn't easy to accept that you have this
unwanted noise in your ear(s). I even stated in my very
first post to this newsgroup that I would rather be
deaf than to hear this noise the rest of my life. But,
guess what, I read an interesting article, this is an
    excerpt from it:

my entire inner ear was surgically removed to get rid of
the bad balance center. Besides being the balance center
of the ear it is a part of your hearing mechanism. By
having it removed it left me 100% deaf in that ear.
Surprise...I still hear a ringing in that ear. Since I
have no hearing organ left in that ear it can't be a
    physical sound.

This is the link for the article. It might offer you some
    insight. stevenandrews.tripod.comMiscInfo.htm

I am no longer dealing with the sound but am dealing with
the somatic discomfort that comes with the sound. I will
be talking to my doc about using carbonic dehydrase
    inhibitor soon.

    Thanks,
