No one will be embarrassed on the 18th because the French Senate has decided to delay the release of the report until after the TdF is done.

Wow... this place has gone downhill big time!

Will the last person to leave cycling forums please turn off the light? ...thanks.

Well it is likely they will detect epo in most of the top riders of 1998. It will be interesting. I haven't read anywhere that a quantitative assesment can be done. Maybe someone else has knowledge? In other words, is it pass / fail or can concentration be determined?
In any event McQuaid has hinted that Marco Pantani could be stripped of his title in the event that his retain contains synthetic epo. This is somewhat surprising, because of course it is only from one the one available sample and thus does not meet the criterion for disqualification of that time or today.
What is more, Lance was never disqualified from his 1999 retrotest failure result, but rather from the summation of testimony coming out of the USADA investigation, and later his own admission. But let's see what they do. It will open up a discussion to the possible cancellation of TdF and other results for much more than the seven year cancellation we have already witnessed.

Pity they can't retest the 81, 86, 87, 89, 91, 96 and 97 Tours whilst they're at it. No need to do 80 as Zoetemelke already admitted to blood doping ;)

Boardman is suss. JV and SO obviously still riding and very popular among fans.

Who didn't burn a hole in the beaker on that list? Zabel maybe. Admitted epo use but reckoned he only did it a few times because it made him sick. McEwen Boardman Simon But don't hold a gun to my head on it.

Anyone got any money of the French finding someway to include Lance? "Bwahahahahahahhaaaaa" - Dilbert.

So many from that list have already been done, maybe as well lock the lot of them up.

If you mean that this place isn't full of folks that talk like old women and sensationalize **** like this every time that someone posts then yeah, it's gone down hill. Care to regurgitate that "Tommy D blood spinner" rant you were so apt to mention in almost every post? OMG - someone In the late 80s and 90s took EPO or did old school RBC transfusions! Oh no! Say it isn't so!!!!!!!??!!!!?!!!!!!!!!!???!!!

I heard the French got him Ragbrai, Iowa.

Apparently, or the story goes that on stage 6 all the samples were positive for epo_O'grady was malliot jaune. In any case, I'm under no illusions about o'grady.

List is out:

Positive:

Eddy! Who knew?!?! Heheh!

And da French? Who knew?

And Axel? Who didn't know?

Super Mario? Uh...well...er...um...

So. Pretty much everybody. In the most profeshionized, serialized, prolific, repetitive doping sport evar. I wonder what drugs Froomestrong was on this year? Give it 15 years and we may find out.

And Jan's non-confession will now stand? A thrice impressed duck?

No sign of Rodolfo Massi's name?

In the 1998 TDF, he was climbing like a cycling god until his team got pulled from the Tour.

Not all were tested as samples were missing, not viable or two samples not present.

The 1998 samples, like the 1999 samples, were tested in 2004 for research purposes only.
In respective cases only one sample would have been available for testing in 2004.

The 1999 samples had only one sample available for testing because at the time (1999) the original sample was tested and deemed to be "clean" and was therefore discarded.
