Whos got a 29"

My son has taken over my Giant and I'm looking at new mountain bikes. Of those that have one of the new 29"ers, how do you like them, and disk or V brakes with those. Looking to purchase later this summer so I'm researching now.

The good thing i've noticed about them : You can swap in a road wheelset for a kickasss commuter.

I have an On-One Inbred 29er. It's a rigid, single-speed 29er and I couldn't be happier. It runs v-brakes for simplicity. It's a simple, fun ride. No gears to mess with, no suspension to tune, just ride.
