Who's the woman on Eurosport coverage?

That would be Christine Anderson. I met her in Lourdes in 2003, and in fact
our group (consisting of myself and four Kiwis who spoke a language they
claimed was English but...) bought her a beer. She was pretty excited
because she was the only reporter at the time who knew about Mayo breaking
the chainstay on Lance's bike, but had no way to upload the story because
Lourdes is about two centuries behind the rest of the world. Reasonably
nice person, married to former TDF rider Phil Anderson, lives in Australia,
and feels that she knows more about the riders than any other
reporter/sportsbroadcaster because riders will talk to her (because she's
cute?). She thinks very highly of herself, but perhaps she's earned that
right over the years. And knowing that she has to work with that Duffield
guy, you have to be a bit sorry for her.

Still, I'll never forget watching the late broadcast on Eurosport one
evening, when she went on and on about Botero's beautiful blue eyes...

once a groupie, always a groupie. Mlle Crow-Armstrong knows both sides of
that coin.

I spoke to Cristie about the "Blue eyes" comment, must have be 3 years
ago. From what she said, Its more Duffields obssession, not hers. he just
won't let it drop.

Mind you having met Santi, I can vouch for the fact that he has indeed the
most beautiful blue eyes!!!
