almost all the bicycle mirrors available are convex. I dislike convex mirrors. They make
- near cars look further away, manageable but dangerous.
- distant cars are out of sight - what's the point then.
- I cannot spot the cyclist 300m behind unless I know precisely where to look for them.
- and I don't want to think about motorbikes.
yes I have to adjust flat mirrors more often, or move my head - neither exactly hard.
I want flat mirrors so I can use all the legal road. If I ride where its smoothest its easy to watch
the mirrors, and then I get to ride where its smoothest. Win. Win. Fantastic for low traffic roads,
but you need flat mirrors.
So, why convex mirrors.
