I would think that USA Cycling would be selective about the people they send to the world championships. Horner is a great rider and I am glad he was on the team. They could have sent some other WebCor riders to support him. They could also have sent some other young riders that could benifit from the experiance. Instead, they sent a drug cheat named Kirk O'Bee. O'Bee was susspended for being hopped up on T in 2002. The suspension is over but I would have perfered that they sent someone other then a drug cheat to represent our country. He did not even finish the race and I doubt he provided Horner with any help.

USADA Sanctions are listed here: (You can find O'Bee under 2002)

I would think that you need to understand a few things first.... #1: O'Bee has served his suspension, and now it is behind him. Leave it be. #2 Which Webcor riders would you have sent to the worlds to work for Horner? #3: World Championships are not a training race.... You don't send a young rider to the pro worlds to gain experience... especially when you have ambitions for a team result.
