Now that it's getting cold and dark I have to start going to the gym and doing the horrifying, boring, torturous indoor cycles.
What I don't understand is that even when I have a lot of resistance, and am slogging away, my heart rate is quite a bit lower than what seems like an easier ride on a real bike. Can anyone think of why that might be?
