Personally, I have rode BMX & MTB, and im also a hunter, and a fishermen, and
have been since I could walk and carry a pole.
Some of the things you say in this paticular articale, in simple terms as
possible, Is ********.
Mountain biker's are lazy? Proven fact that you have never rode a MTB.
And riding a bike is one of the best exercises a person can do if you knew
anything.
And as far as rider's destroying the land? Half of the rider's maintain the
trails that are there where they ride, if you knew ANY rider's you would know
that...
This of course is just my opinion, and the same as many other rider's.
Dont try and start something on a subject you clearly do not know.

Thank you,
Nick, of BC,Canada.

You say equestrian riders say that “mountain bikers turn trails into powder”?
Well, let’s have a look at a horse. First off, horses are not small creatures.
They weigh much, much, much, much more than a mountain biker and his bike. So
just how does a biker go about turning a trail into powder? Pixie dust? Because
I sure as hell know that it’s impossible to turn a trail into powder on a
mountain bike. Sure, a little dust might kick up, but then look at your horse
friends. They literally kick dirt all over the place. And by the way, I don’t
remember the last time I saw a horse back rider out with a shovel fixing the
ruts he puts in a wet trail.

Greg

P.S. - When caught riding on trails closed to bikes, in my experience, they lie
("I didn't know it is closed" -- but they don't offer to leave!), threaten ("I'm
going to bust your head")… I highly doubt that this ever happened. My guess is
you made up parts of your ‘essay’ (or bitter attempt at) just to seem more
plausible.

P.S.S. – Take a look at many of the world class trails in British Columbia; some
of the best erosion resistant built trails, diverting water to natural spots.
I’d like to see your horse friends make anything half as decent.
