Will I fit, how much does size matter in bike fit?



It wouldn't be worth it, in my opinion. The Cdale is 3cm shorter in both seat tube and top tube lengths. That can't necessarily be made up with raising the seat and using a longer stem--there's more issues than that involved in bike fit.

I agree with you on one point. The seat post can be raised, but he'd have to move the saddle forward on it's rails or get an in-line seatpost. A longer stem can be used, but the steering characteristics would be stuffed up, more stable in a straight line, but more likely to flip the bike over if he slammed on the brakes and turning would be slower.
