Will it fit? (part 2....)

if the bb on the frame is 68mms, any english bb will work the problem is
the lenght of the bb axle...btw did u see whats the old bb cups says? it
should read some like 1.24 x 35 or some like that, thats english thread.

1 yes it will work just fine...

2 Usually 68 means english thread, so u wont have any problems (unless the
bb have had a bad problen and now the thread is italian 36 mm.. and i think
thats not your case at all)

3 YES IT WILL WORK just FINE!... do u have downtube shifters right? if the
answer is yes.. all will work fine so far, my advise is not use the indexed
stuff... use the shifters in retrofriction... it will work even better and
ull learn more control over your shiftings skils 🙂

4 to put a BB take its better take the bike to the shop, they will swap the
bb in less than 10 mins if the guys are good on it. Have no sence for u to
buy a tapper, a reamer (maybe) and other tools ull use once each 10 years u
know. The shop will ask for 10 bucks maybe less.

5 quality? man u bought what u wanted 2 get hehehe... if u know what i
mean... and if u want the stuff for going to see your gf or bf hats more
than enough... the cranks looks pretty cool i have an old frame and those
are just the stuff im looking for hehehe... 🙂 and shimano's bb are quite
good, even better than campy's (wonder if shimano still do tappered bb's)

Uhhh... close. English threads are 1.37 x 24 tpi, unless you're talking
London Fog coats.

I agree that unless you're going to do this more than once, it's easier
to go to a shop and pay to have it done. However, a tap and reamer
isn't always necessary. You'll need the tool for the BB, but that's
relatively cheap:
