It wasn't shown on the SBS coverage but did
anyone see the Jersey that Andrei Greipel got
for winning the Mannum to Strathalbyn stage?
It was a Fleurieu Freckle cow. Not sure how
he got that back to Germany or shared it with
his team mates. And he didn't wear any of it
the next day.

It's not the first time that the prize for the stage has been a cow. I
remember Mick Rogers won the cow one year.
For one race in Switzerland, the winner gets their own weight in
chocolate...
