Winter cycling is insane and suicidal.

Warm here also but the wind was brutal. Get read for a change abound mid month. That's when the cold weather should settle in.

Up and down right now, snow and bitter cold last week, then a thaw, then a little snow and not as cold, followed by a thaw Saturday into late Sunday, all melted, 55 degrees yesterday at this time, about 35 now, maybe a bit colder, some sun but with a stiff wind. No snow and little ice, so I can go out on the hybrid tonight.

Yeah, the wind has been pretty strong this fall. It's still hard to believe the official start of winter is three weeks away. On the positive side, there is only three more weeks of the days getting shorter.

I need to borrow MBB's Midnight Sun setup soon. I got a new 'She Blinded Me With Neon' safety orange jersey, but I could use a whole lot more lumens...if the roads stay snow and ice free enough to keep the outdoor riding up.

The important part is what kind of pornography you look at.

Just like it's prudent to avoid shimaNO, sticking with the quality pron always pays.

Speaking of which, does anyone do bondage or carbon fiber fabrication better than the Romanians? No way!

If she couldn't find the tree, trimming the underbrush won't solve his "problem".

If you do it unconditionally and post it on Youtube I bet you get 200,000 hits the first day.

Ok, I think we've fallen into the sawgrass naked. I also think Youtube would yank that down before you browse away good. You could always do what my buddy did. He's #8 here. http://youtu.be/l9FIOk_2ibM

Did 70 miles on a rented Salsa Blackborrow last weekend. Temps in the teens and got 19" of snow that day. Was an amazing ride with a group of about 15. All on fat bikes, all boozing it up good. Now I need to buy a fat bike.

Full disclosure… I'm just trolling and looking for excuses to buy a fat bike. But the big question for me is how fat do I go???

I'm eyeballing one of those Mongoose bikes myself. I'd rather not have those Harley tires, though, and can't make myself pay the $5000 USD for a "good" one.

I have ridden a Trek Farley 8, a Salsa Mukluk titanium, and a Salsa Blackborow. They were all great rides. The Farley and the Mukluk had 4" tires, the Blackborow has 5" tires. As a fat kid I enjoy the extra floatation of the 5" tire. I think I'll buy a Blackborow at some point. I'm Interested in a Salsa Bucksaw as well, but the Blackborow will probably win....it's half the price.

    You, sir, win the internetz!

15 guys! Were on fire roads, logging roads, National Park? Or bar-hopping through Billings? That sounds like an awesome day, a hard workout and a ton of fun...other than that part about temps in the teens.

I've heard of "drunk as a bicycle." Thanks BSFG for clarifying. *smack*
