I am just curious. Is it a good idea to add some big gear and big torque interval during the off season to build leg strenght and endurance? I am planning to add one day of the week to do these big gear (75 rpm or slower and under 300w--LT power is 245w--130lb) and big torque workout. The rest of the weekdays I will focus on 3 to 4 hours of base miles.
