Nicole Cooke has lost the Women's World Road Cup at the final hurdle,
having led right from the start.
She's finished 34th - by far her lowest placing in this year's WC - in
what looks like a bunch sprint at the end of the Rund um die Nürnberger
Altstadt. Her lead going into this round (80 points) would have been
enough if it hadn't been for the double points on the final leg - Vos
won, and secured 150 points.
