    Charlotte Benkner, who at age 114 was recognized by both The
    Guiness Book of World Records & the UCLA-based Gerontology
    Research Group,as the second oldest (documented/verifiable)
    living person, died last Friday in Youngstown, Ohio. She was
    born on November 16, 1889 in Leipzig, Germany. The current
    "oldest" is a woman in Puerto Rico, born two months earlier.
