You wouldn't actually be able to see anything interesting in that
picture, because I'm almost sitting on it.
Usually I ride wearing cycling shorts, with my genitals pointing up and
held there by the Lycra. That way I don't sit on anything that I really
don't want to.
That picture was taken very shortly after the start of the ride, when I
had mounted on grass. Mounting on grass is much harder than mounting on
a smooth surface, so I just got on and wasn't able to swing everything
into position as I did so. I didn't then like to manually adjust
myself, particularly given the number of cameras likely to catch me
doing so!
Very soon after that picture was taken, I remounted on the tarmac. I
found it quite easy to move my hips so that everything swung forwards,
then overshoot the saddle slightly and lower myself down onto it
backwards, so that the important parts were prevented by the nose of the
saddle from getting underneath me. That's the way I mounted after every
dismount for the rest of the ride (only one UPD, BTW).
For most of the ride, I looked more like this:

(NWS, obviously).
