I did have a 90's Monogoose and it got stolen now i am in a search for another Monogoose kind of bike, any suggestion ?

Hey I know this is an old post but did you find anything?
It depends on what Mongoose bike you had was it MTB or BMX?
Bikes have come a bit since the ol' 90's.
I can defiantly make a few really good cost effective recommendations.
Please let me know since if we can post it here perhaps it will help others out in the same situation!
Also, I personally feel there is a special place in purgatory for bike thieves. Even a few decades later you have my sympathy for a lost ride.

Mine is a mountain bike but not so particular with the make. It was actually bought for me and what I really need is something that I could ride on and bring me to places I want to go to. My first bike was a BMX, hahahaaa, the small one with the easy rider type. But I was young then so no problem. When I grew older, it was the mountain bike not really for the comfort but because it was the craze that time (in the 1990s).
Pardon me for not contributing substantially to this thread. I am also looking around for info so when I have the budget, I would buy a new mountain bike. But I prefer the one with bigger tires.
