Perhaps you’re putting together a fixed gear for winter training and need some shorter cranks for working on your spin and cornering safely? Maybe you need shorter cranks for a smaller person’s road or 'cross bike? Let’s help each other out!

I have a pair of 170mm Ultegra (FC-6500/6503) cranks in excellent shape that I’d like to trade for some 175mm cranks. These are the latest Hollowtech Octolink spline cranks. They have some minor scuffing and scratching, but no deep gouges, crash damage or alignment problems of any kind. The decals started to flake off so they were removed. Overall, I’d give them an 8 out of 10 for appearance. They are definitely NOT “well used” or “beater-grade”. They have the original self-extracting crank bolts. I might be able to round up a well used, but usable chainring or two and could most likely include a set of used chainring bolts if you need them.

I’d prefer to trade for 175mm Ultegra Octolink cranks, or “not so beautiful” Dura Ace cranks. I would even consider ISIS drive cranks with a 130mm bolt circle diameter. Appearance is not that important, but the cranks must be “straight” with no structural damage. Let me know what you’ve got and send a photo if possible. If you’d like to see a photo of the cranks I’d be happy to send one your way.

I wish you had posted this back at the beginning of summer! I was
looking to go from 175mm cranks to 170mm on my new tourer, and had a
hell of a time finding them at a reasonable price, though I finally did.
If you decide you can use a set of 175mm square-taper cranks (which are
NOT what you listed above), write back; they were never crashed or bent,
but were just too long for me, and my knees complained...
