X-training - cycling v. tennis ...

I can't seem to keep good form on the bike and keep my tennis legs .. what gives???

Usually this time of year, I focus on putting in better times on the bike ... and also this time of year, my legs mush up on the tennis court, lacking the explosive footwork that I've had through the previous months.

I'm considering adding weight-training for my legs on some of the days that I ride the bike ... anyone ever hit the weights on riding days, either before or after a ride (my preference would be before)? What results?
