XTR V brake lever on a campy 10 equipped road bike?

will an XTR V brake lever work with campy 10 road bike brakes?
I'd like to try putting a flat MTB handbar on the road bike to put me
in a very upright position but I suspect that I won't get enough
braking force from the v brake levers..

i'd rather get the new campa flat-bar ergopower shift-brake levers (one piece). available for mirage to chorus. depending on the gruppo, they come in different colors and the chorus bl are carbonfibre, very nice!
