Cool. If your year-to-date mileage is similar to mine, shall we have a little contest to see who has the most by year's end? I should hit about 2,400 miles. I turn 52 on December 22nd, so will do a 52 mile ride on or near that date, probably the nearest Saturday.

I am 67 and have done over 2000 km this year
    The averages by country are:
France, 75km/yr, English and Greeks similarly, the Spanish 5km/yr. Italians 150km/yr, Germans and Belgians 300km/yr, Dutch 848km/yr and Danes 936km/yr.
Don't know the figures for Americans, but they probably don't know the difference between a kilometer and a killer whale.

I seldom ride in the winter months(Dec,Jan,Feb,1/2 Mar) unless it is above 40F,the roads are clear, and its sunny.

You call 80 miles a week lazy? Dude, I wish I could get that many miles in during the week. Between work and taking care of the kids, I'm lucky if I can get 10 - 20 in a week. :(
