Bike: 2001 Optima Baron
factory options: front disc brake, carbon seat, closer gearing, light
mount. spd pedals
Addded/modded/replaced:
2 new front brakes (disc brakes first, now roller brakes)
2 new tillers/handlebars
a few rear mudguards (last one with carbon overlay)
front mudguard
Rohloff hub, with disc rear brake.
custom made chain tensioner
2-3 chainrings
3 or four computers, finally got a wireless one that seems to work
rear rack (mounted front-to-back)
Time Atac pedals
extra large & loud bell
severall LED lights
mount for GPS
new frame
trailer
So the rear rim is still original, the bottom bracket and the cranks,
time to start looking for a new bike.

Indeed.

My 2001 Stinger is on its third frame, the brakes have been replaced, as
have the chains, pedals, both hubs and cassette, but the bottom bracket is
original as are the seat, rims and shifters.

I still have a spoke nipple from one bike from which I have replaced
everything else, even changing the wheel size in the process. Do I win, or
si someone going to claim upgrading everything except a headset ball
bearing?
