Check this out. SportVue™ is a very lightweight helmet/visor-mounted heads-up display unit that will be available for cyclists sometime next year. The display gives you speed, distance, location in addition to a few other user-programmable indications - (gear position, shift indication, etc.). Racing versions will have lap time, track position and segmented lap performance data, and the system is wireless.
(Is this cool or what?!?!?)
Don't know if I wan't a GPS transciever in my helmet, sounds a bit like 'Big Brother' to me. What if my wife uses it to keep track of where I really am, no more stopping at the pub during those "5 hour bike rides".

While I'm sure this is more joking than serious, I'd like to point out that GPS doesn't need a transceiver, only a receiver to work. In order for someone to know where you are, it would need a transmitter that can send your coordinates out. GPS itself just listens for the carriers from the satellites.
I admit is great, but I really dont think I'd buy it.... my next cyclocomputer is the Sigma PC1600, and I'm gonna get it just because I lost a sigma PC1400 from my mtb when crossing by the bushes looking for a path =\
