buddy of mine asked me what workout would i do if i had to choose 1 workout to get as fit as i could... this is after the base period.. i told him i would do 4 minute intervals. 1 minute intervals, maybe in 1 bigger gear and a bit faster on the rpm's still is IMO, too short. the 20 minute interval is too long, so after reading ric sterns info on the 4 minute interval, i would choose to do those..i also thought about 30 seconds on 1 minute off as long as i could go, but i still would probably to 4 on, 4 off for as many as i could.. 90% of hr max. anyone have any other workout tey would do for max benifits?
