My latest ride is an Avanti Ridge Rider Disc. It was just built up for me yesterday by the dealer. All is well with it, except the tyres are too aggressive when on small loose pebbles, the result being they flick up onto the bike.
Apart from that, the Manitou 6 front forks
, shimano deore drivetrain
, and the shimano disk brakes
work like a dream. It also features many components from it's sister company Specialized.
Cost me $800AUD, haggled it down from nearly $900AUD. It pays to shop around!!!
