Your Ride!

I ride the same bike as above, 2004 LeMond Tourmalet...61cm, love the bike, i'm not sure why LeMonds get such a bad rap. Comfy bike, rides like a dream!

Most of the negativity I have heard has come from the "Greg dissed Lance, so he is an a**hole and I will never buy one of his bikes" crowd. I had actually never even seen a LeMond bike before I began shopping for a new roadie. In my (very) humble opinion I couldn't have gotten a better bike for my money ($850.00).

My real ride is still pending....I've been riding a garage sale Puch, but I've ordered a Leader 735 frame fitted with a Shimano crank, a Cinelli stem , Campagnolo Record calipers, derailleurs, and seat post, and a Cane Creek head set . I'm still trying to round up brake levers/ shifters and a handlebar. I can't wait! This Puch is having the same effect as ankle weights :) .

i have a 1982 27" huffy: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v104/saturnsc2/P1010001.jpg & a 2002 19" gary fisher mountain bike:
P1010006.jpg

Paketa Magnesium Frame (feels amazing) Manitou Minute 2 fork, mostly XT components, minus the shifter/brake levers (LX) and the chain (SRAM hollow Pin). 22 pound Mountain Bike :D .

2002 LeMond Tourmalet- Ultegra and 105 mix, Cane Creek Aerohead wheels, Hutchinson Carbon Comp tires, Sette carbon fork, Raceface XY0 post, Selle Italia Gel Flite Ti seat, Cinelli tape, Shimano pedals.

2005 Specialized S-Works Roubaix- Full Dura Ace, Mavic Ksyrium SL wheels, S-Works tires, Specialized BG seat, S-Works post, Shimano pedals.

Both together in the 3rd shot.

Mine is a 2004 Lemond Alpe D'Huez 55cm, full Ultegra, with Easton Ascent II wheelset (pic shows my old Rolf Vector Comp wheelset) and Fizik Saddle

Mine is a Trek 5500 OCLV 120 Carbon Frame, Cane Creek Cronos Wheels, Ultegra FD/RD and 105 shifters.

Had it for about a month and i am loving it.

I just bought this bike (off eBay of all places), it replaces an old ('90) Cannondale Crit Bike w/Campy Veloce components.

2004 Cannondale Saeco Team Bike:

Optimo CAAD 7 SI Hollowgram Frame, Full Campagnolo Record 10-Speed, MAVIC Wireless Computer, Campagnolo Pro-Fit Pedals, Carbon ForkSlice Si Forks, Mavic Ksyrium SL Wheels, Hutchinson Fusion Comp Tires, Team Edition Cannondale Si Hollowgram Cranks, 39/53 Front, 12/25 10-speed Rear Cogs, Bottom Bracket Cannondale Hollowgram Si, Cinelli Carbon RAM Bar/Stem, Campagnolo Carbon Hiddenset, Record Brakes/levers, Fi'zi:k Aliante Saddle, Campagnolo Carbon Seat Post, Team Saeco Replica (gloss) paint, Carbon Bottle cage.

This has/is my dream bike, took me a while to actually part with the money to get it, but it (so far) has been well worth it! :D

New to these forums, but figured this was one topic I could post to without having to sound intelligent.

Bought my new road bike after mountain biking for about 6 years and finding myself in a country without enough mountain bike trails nearby (Japan).

Bought a new 2005 Specialized Roubaix in June. Very happy with it. 80 miles down today on this route:

I got the same bike, but have recently changed out the wheels to Mavic SL2's - the improvement to the ride is quite considerable - the original ALX's used to flex enough to make the back wheel magnet hit the sensor arm when out of the saddle.
