I am considering getting a Power Tap (PT). I wanted to build a Zipp 415/28spoke wheel for the PT. I am told that the 28 spoke PT hub is not available and might not be available for a long time. I weigh 166 lbs and am told by some vendors that a 24 spoke/Zipp 415 wheel would be fine for me because I am not to heavy and the 415 wheel is very strong.
John Howard advises only using the 415/24spoke wheel for TT's. Does anyone have any experience with the 415 and will I be ok with a 24 spoke wheel or should I just suck it up and go with a 32 spoke option.
I do want to use the wheel for both training and racing. My training milage (because of work etc) for the year is only between 3500 to 4000 miles.
